The Black Boy Inn - Caernarfon

The Black Boy Inn is a collection of several properties Black Boy Inn, Black Jack’s, Trw Du, Ty Dre and Letty Suites.our rooms are only accessible by stairs (except for the Easy Access rooms) there are no lifts in any of our properties. The properties have been updated to a high standard while retaining their unique character with handmade furniture, quality fittings and local traditional building materials.
The Black Boy Inn is the main building, one of North Waless oldest inns and dates back to 1522. Located within Caernarfons historic town walls, it is an easy walk within the town centre and the 13th-century castle Youll find a cozy atmosphere with thick stone walls (1.2 to 1.5 meters) low ceilings, creaking floorboards and narrow staircases.
All other buildings are within 100 yards of the main Inn or within the courtyard area.
The Inn is known for its warm welsh welcome, hearty welsh food and craft beers served in front of roaring log fires.
Please check room type before booking, the description will inform you which building the room is located e.g A Ty Dre standard room will be located in the Ty Dre building.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

When booking 3 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

Please reserve a table at the restaurant in advance to avoid disappointment.

Black Boy Single. Single Black Boy Single - Located in the original Black Boy Inn, with a single bed and ensuite standalone shower. This is a second floor room with low beams; we do not have any lifts. ;
