The Grand Hotel - Eastbourne

This magnificent 5-star hotel faces the beach from King Edwards Parade. It offers luxurious accommodation, 2 award-winning restaurants, and both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.

The Grand Hotel Eastbourne has welcomed many famous guests, including Winston Churchill and Charlie Chaplin. Some rooms have spectacular sea views, and 24-hour room service is available.

Traditional English cuisine is served daily in the Garden Room Restaurant. The Mirabelle Restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive for lunch and dinner and has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes, and afternoon tea is available daily in the hotel’s Great Hall.

The Health Club and Spa features a heated indoor pool and guests can enjoy treatments in the beauty salon.

The Grand Hotel is 15 minutes’ walk from Eastbourne Railway Station. The shops and theatres of the town centre can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Should you wish to dine with us, we would strongly advise booking dinner before arrival. Please note that our Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rate includes Dinner in either restaurant, to the value of £45.00 per adult. Dress Code: Whilst we do not operate a dress code, most of our guests choose smart casual or formal wear.

Childrens rates are inclusive of accommodation and breakfast, regardless of selected package.other meals will be charged. Please specify the ages of any children included in the booking in the special request box.

Dogs will be charged at £25 per night with a maximum of one dog per room. We have a limited number of dog friendly bedrooms. Dogs can not be accommodated in the Superior Classic Inland rooms, Superior Classic Seaview rooms or the Penthouse Suite.

Classic Double Room. Beautifully decorated room with individual character and inland views. Please note that this room cannot accommodate an extra bed. ;
Superior Classic Double Room. Superior Classic Rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished in keeping with the character of The Grand Hotel. This is a large and spacious room which can accommodate an extra bed for a child. ;
Superior Classic Double Room with Sea View. Spacious rooms at the front of the hotel with a full sea view. Please note that this room cannot accommodate an extra bed. ;
Junior Suite. Features a seating area within the bedroom. Some suites also have a sofa bed to accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children on request. This room can accommodate up to 2 extra beds. ;
Classic Double Room with Side Sea View. These rooms are similar in size, décor and furnishings to the Classic Bedrooms but with the added benefit of a side sea view. ;
Suite. Suites enjoy scenic views, either out to sea or overlooking the outdoor pool, and feature a large double or twin bedroom and seating area. Some suites are large enough to accommodate 2 extra beds for children. ;
Junior Suite with Sea View. These Junior Suites are located on the wing of the hotel with a side sea view. They have a spacious bedroom incorporating a sitting room, with a sofa bed and room for an extra bed or cot. ;
Master Suite. Master Suites have a separate sitting room and bedroom. Each suite has sea views and some suites have 4-poster beds and spa baths. The Master Suites are large enough to accommodate 2 extra beds for children. ;
Penthouse Suite. Situated in the privacy of the 4th floor with dramatic views, this suite has a luxurious bathroom with roll-top bath. ;
Superior Classic Inland Double Room. Providing free toiletries and bathrobes, this double room includes a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, a hairdryer and slippers. The spacious double room provides a tea and coffee maker, a seating area, heating and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The unit offers 1 bed.
